Valentine’s Day usually involves big dinners and lots of candy which will definitely sabotage your weight loss efforts. If you want to spice up your relationship, start working out with your mate. There are so many benefits to exercising with your significant other, so why not start today. When you workout with your mate, you don’t just increase your time spent together, but you strengthen your bond. While working hard, you must encourage and support one another. This leads to positive feelings towards one another and towards hard exercise. It’s also great stress relief to go for a jog or hit the weights together. Venting while working out helps to release tension and improve your outlook on daily stressors. Exercise can also be more fun together if you create exciting challenges for one another to overcome. Physical activity also helps your brain to produce “feel good” chemicals which can improve your intimacy. Try setting up a workout date before dinner tonight and remember to make it fun an exciting.
