Define fun for yourself.  I will bet that almost unanimously, “fun” can be divided into two categories:  Things that go into your mouth and things that do not.  For instance, watching a great movie, spending quality time with loved ones, attending a fun sports event, etc…all of these are “fun” that do not involve your mouth (uh, unless some of that quality time with a special loved one is doing, uh, okay, PG-13 Blog will stop here).  ”fun” things that do involve putting things in your mouth:  drinking wine at social events, eating crap food at the ballpark, devouring a high caloric dessert….all of these and more are “fun” involving the mouth.  Clearly, most activities for “fun” not involving the mouth will not be detrimental to your health but many “fun” things involving your mouth may hurt you in the long run.  Try to take a step back, make a list of all the things you do for “fun” and try to concentrate more on the things that do not involve the mouth.  If you do not have good health, you will not be able to have fun in either category.
