I would bet that pretty much everyone has plans to attend some sort of outdoor gathering with fireworks at sunset. The outdoor dining menu usually includes lots of grilled protein: burgers, hot dogs, steak, chicken etc. All of these are very welcome with your dietary plan. Uh, to remind you all: chips, beer and those desserts are not. Enjoy your friends, family and loved ones, devour that protein, “ooooo, and ahhhhh” at the fireworks, but stay away from those food and drink sources that will ultimately lessen the amount of July 4ths you will enjoy in the future.
