Whether it be avoiding one extra 100 calorie food source or taking an extra flight of stairs several times a day at work rhose “extra” efforts from a dietary or fitness aspect can make a very noticable difference in your weight loss efforts over the long term.  It may seem trivial or inconsequential when you are doing this, but in the aggregate they can make huge dfferences.  This reminds me of the charts they show you that show the huge differences in retirment savings when you start out years ago by just putting a bit extra in your 401K every month.  At the time, it seems insignificnt but when played out over many years, it becomes substantial.  As you go through each and every day, try to take the extra steps, both literally and figuatively to maximze your weight loss efforts
