Creative Breakfast from Serotonin-Plus Weight Loss Program

When on vacation or business travel we are often confronted with breakfast choices that are limited.

The hotel sometimes offers a breakfast buffet for free, but how the eggs are cooked, how greasy the bacon/sausage looks, etc. give pause to whether this is a "healthy" breakfast or not.

Our Serotonin-Plus Counselors have some creative thoughts on breakfast while traveling.

Here they are:

Protein Egg Tower

• 2 large egg whites
• 1 teaspoon of your favourite spice
• 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp honey

You need a small traveling mixer, the right size (microwave plastic bowl), eggs to make the volume and texture of your egg white foam.
With a little kitchen science, anyone can beat egg whites into a white, fluffy, dream-like foam every time.
* Use beaten egg whites right away. Do not let them sit. Microwave for 45 seconds and sprinkle with your spices and honey on top. Enjoy!
